Mini Golf in the Twilight --

Well, the weather was not too cooperative in August, but that isn’t stopping us from trying again.  Join folks from St. Charles and, perhaps, beyond as we take to the links for an evening of mini-golf under the setting sun at Golf Headquarters Family Golfplex at 3465 Highway K in O'Fallon, Mo..  The golfplex is located south Hwy N and slightly south of Waterford Crossing/Pheasant Meadow.  After we’ve finished golfing, we'll adjourn to Buffalo Wild Wings for some wild wings.

Please RSVP so that I can contact you in case the weather goes screwy (we have had some experience with that) or if the moon blasts out of its orbit.

Showing:  COMEDY SIG - “THE BRAK SHOW” ON DVD

On a whim, I decided to get the complete series i.e., Vols. 1 and 2 on DVD.  I remember religiously recording and watching this Adult Swim ‘toon during its run in 2002.

Seeing it again on DVD reminded me what a wonderfully, incredibly left-field cartoon this is. What distinguishes “The Brak Show” (which I referred to in ’02 as “Leave It To Beaver” on acid) is it treads on the right side of the thin line between creepy and whimsical.
